This site follows the guidelines of e-MAG (Model accessibility in e-government), following the rules of the Federal Government, in compliance with Decree 5296, of 2.12.2004.

The term accessibility means include people with disabilities in participating in activities such as the use of products, services and information. Some examples are the buildings with access ramps for wheelchair and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.

On the internet, accessibility refers mainly to WCAG recommendations (World Content Accessibility Guide) W3C and in the case of the Brazilian Government to e-MAG (Model accessibility in e-government). E-MAG is in line with international recommendations, but sets standards of behavior accessible to government sites.

At the top of the portal there is a accessibility bar where standard navigation shortcuts and the option to change the contrast. These tools are available in all portal pages.

The federal government standards shortcuts are:

  • Pressing Alt + if-1 in any portal page, it gets directly to the start page's main content.
  • Alt + 2 is typing in any portal page, it gets directly to the beginning of the main menu.
  • Alt + 3 is typing in any portal page, you arrive directly into your internal search.
  • Alt + 4 if typing in any portal page, you arrive directly to the site footer.
